Grant then spent a lot of his well-spent youth living the dream at the legendary Angels nightclub in Burnley, this is where he progressed from clubber to house music obsessive train spotter, to later DJ’ing in clubs at night and working in record shops during the day. Grant Holmes has been DJ’ing professionally since the summer of 95.
During the 90’s Grant was best known for his long term weekly house music residency at ‘Federation’ (a legendary 90's up front House night) in Blackpool, with his long term friend and DJ mentor Rick Bonetti from the Angels era who ran the night. Federation was the place where Grant became friends with Edit. presents founder Phil Rose aka Jaegerossa.
Grant has guested at various venues around the UK such as Bar Rhumba London, Phillips Park Hall Manchester, Dry Bar Manchester, Life Manchester, Juice Bolton, Fusion Burnley, Club Xpo Burnley, The Blue Note Todmorden, The Mill Preston, Park Hall Chorley to name but a few. Grant was also regular face on the Midlands house club scene playing numerous guest spots at Birmingham’s biggest nights such as 'Crunch' at The Venue and 'S.L.A.G' at the Steering Wheel.
In the early noughties a change of scenery and hemisphere beckoned so Grant relocated to Melbourne Australia. When Grant returned back to the UK in 2014 he hooked back up again with Jaegerossa who had established Edit. presents back in 2012 and since then has become a regular on Nu Disco and House music circuit.
